The Assistive Technology Conference of New England, hosted by TechACCESS of Rhode Island, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities through the use of assistive technologies.
Since 1988, Rhode Island’s annual conference on assistive technology has offered state-of-the-art workshops, information, and exhibits highlighting technologies that change and enhance the lives of people with disabilities of all ages. Attended each year by hundreds of individuals, family members, and professionals from New England and beyond, the conference focuses on uses of technology in education, communication, employment, recreation, home, and independent living.
Call for Presentations Now Open!
For this year’s conference, we are seeking high-quality presentations that highlight innovative assistive technology solutions, inclusive design best practices, and real-world examples of accessibility in action.We invite you to contribute your unique perspectives, professional expertise, and practical experiences.
We are pleased to partner with the AAC Institute to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for eligible conference sessions. Presentations will be 75 minutes in length.Deadline for presentation submissions is October 16, 2026.
