This workshop will be an introduction to a variety of AAC apps available for the iTouch/iPad. Apps discussed will include Proloquo2go, Tap-to-Talk, iCommunicate, and others. Features of all apps will be compared and contrasted. Accessories that make the iPad more effective as a communication device will also be discussed. $30

This comprehensive workshop includes discussion of the following topics: iTunes basics; identifying the most efficient ways to search for apps and find FREE apps; managing and organizing your apps;how to set Restrictions; Accessibility Options of the iPad; Tips and Tricks; the best accessories/hardware for your iPad; how to make a Stylus; identifying potential obstacles; and demonstration of a varietyof apps. $150

ProloQuo2Go: What You Need to Know

Participants will learn to customize the settings of ProloQuo2Go as well as create new communication pages, including adding symbols and pictures and backing up your custom content. Bring youriPad or iPod Touch if you have one! $30
Accessible Reading: Bookshare and Read:OutLoud (Bookshare Edition)
February 2 3:30 – 5:30
This intermediate workshop will explore these two software programs. Bookshare provides the worldís largest online library of accessible reading materials for people with print disabilities. Individualscan sign up for a FREE membership and access the library on their own. Read:OutLoud by Don Johnston Incorporated is a text reader that provides access to reading materials and is available for free to allBookshare members. $30
