Story Patch

Story Patch logoThis app allows users to create their own picture books. It has hundreds of included images and the ability to import photos!  Story Patch allows photos from the iPad’s photo library to be imported and used as backdrops in a story.
After your student has created his or her story, they can share it with friends and family by emailing a PDF version of the story with just a tap of a button.
Story Patch also includes a set of story themes that struggling writers can use to create stories with support. After they select a theme, Story Patch asks a series of questions and then builds a story based on the user’s responses. Story Patch inserts all of the text, so your student simply has to illustrate each page of the story. Want to see Story Patch in action? Check out the demo at their website, $2.99 in the iTunes store.
