The Assistive Technology Access Partnership
is pleased to offer the annual RI Conference on
assistive technology again this year. As always,
the conference promises to be filled with information
and the newest and best assistive technologies
for children and adults with disabilities.
The program this year highlights access to the
educational curriculum and how technology tools
can support learning. In a double session, attendees
will make and take simple adapted devices.
There are also several sessions on AT in the
workplace, adapted phones, and increasing access
in the home. What interests you?

Assistive technology can play a critical role in the life
of a person with a disability. A wide range of presentations and
an exhibit hall offering product demonstrations and information will
provide conference participants with the opportunity to learn what
a powerful impact assistive technology can have in improving the
lives of people with disabilities.

for ALL Kids.
Whiteboards are quickly becoming recognized as an
exciting classroom tool for general education students
and an effective accommodation for diverse learners,
especially those with learning disabilities and visual impairments.

demonstrated and applications for learning discussed.

I. Assistive Technology Supports for Math
Students demonstrate a wide range of difficulties in
math including illegible and misaligned handwriting, visual
deficits that interfere with seeing and reading, and
